WIthin the longest tunnel in Europe where leaks in the tunnel ceiling are caused by an overhead river, mix with severely cold weather (it being Russia of course) create pockets of ice in the tunnel road below. And as we know, everyone loves to speed in tunnels, which leaves us with a video of some unlucky folks who were a bit too careless for their own good. Much credit to the bus driver who must have experienced much in this tunnel on previous drives through!
Imagine a day when you can surround your car with your own force field of electricity, when you too can say “Shields up Mr. Sulu” and laugh others who simply have a useless sound alarm on their cars. Well although that day has been brought closer by those crazy Ozzy’s who feel that the Tesla coil has many more uses in the real world than just as a novel science experiment. Ever wake up in the morning with that urge to go out and learn how to drive a tank? Or even better get in a tank battle without the hassle of later hacing some staff sargent breathing down your neck about the shine on your boots? Its a wonder that the Army is able to recruit anyone these days when access to these big toys is readily available. Now granted a WWII era tanks aren’t exactly state of the art technology, but where else are you going to be able to live out your boyhood fantasies with your own crew equipped with helmets, headsets and suits for 2 hours at £75 and not get deployed to Iraq? And don’t get me wrong, I think nations soldiers will always be heros in my book. Invite the family out for a weekend of anger management, where pointing a real 40mm cannon at your boss/friends/family feels so much better than imagining it in your mind. Personally I think if more people took up this option we would have fewer road rage incidents on the highways. I was thinking back to when Autobuzz first started back in ‘98 and I thought about how many thousands of images we shot to showcase the growing trends in the US. I find with mass if information being created on youtube, and the endless number of blogs, that anything beyond 30 days old disappears off the radar. How much interesting tuning scene history have I been able to dig up? Tons! I have to crack open my scanner once again (how long has it been since I have handled negatives?) and start sorting through stacks of boxes that hold records going back decades.
